Senior Manager Commercial Finance & Financial Reporting

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Commercial Finance & Financial Reporting to join a dynamic and fast-paced finance leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who can combine strong technical accounting expertise with strategic business partnering to support organizational growth and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading financial reporting, commercial finance, FP&A, and business performance management, while ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements. This position requires a leader who can transform financial data into actionable business insights, support executive decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across finance processes. Key Responsibilities - Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. - Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting. - Manage budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial planning, and variance analysis. - Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Business Leaders to improve profitability, optimize pricing strategies, and support strategic decision-making. - Deliver financial modelling, scenario analysis, and investment appraisals to support commercial initiatives. - Monitor key financial and operational KPIs, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to senior management. - Drive process improvements, ERP optimization, reporting automation, and the implementation of strong financial controls. - Coordinate statutory audits, regulatory compliance, and financial governance across the business. - Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and business partnership. Requirements ✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. ✔ Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is essential. ✔ Minimum 8 years' experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Financial Reporting, or a similar senior finance role. ✔ Strong expertise in IFRS, statutory reporting, financial consolidation, month-end close, and financial controls. ✔ Demonstrated experience in business partnering, commercial finance, profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. ✔ Advanced proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms, together with strong Excel and Business Intelligence reporting skills. ✔ Previous experience within FMCG, manufacturing, industrial, commodity trading, or similar sectors will be highly regarded. ✔ Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at executive level.
