Purpose of the position: As ICSS Specialist, you will ensure safe maintenance execution of instrumentation and control Systems, compliant with HSE rules, legislative regulations and international standard. Set and promote Leadership in Safety attitudes. Bring leadership and supervision and provide support to team members in terms of technical and individual performance capability. Be responsible for supporting the closing out of any gaps in the competency standards for all team members. How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities: Maintain an accurate history in the maintenance database (AMOS/SAP or equivalent) of all work undertaken on ICSS systems. Provide technical instrumentation and control support to the E/I department as required. Report deficiencies, malfunctions, and technical concerns clearly to the Instrument Supervisor and, when necessary, directly to the Maintenance Superintendent. Discuss and analyze technical issues and spare parts requirements with line management. Liaise with the DCS service provider and SAIPEM technical teams through the established reporting structure. Ensure compliance with SAIPEM Permit to Work System, Isolation Standards, and relevant procedures. Stay fully familiar and compliant with Company Policies, Quality, and HSE Procedures. Identify and report unsafe conditions, ensuring corrective actions are taken according to procedure. Keep the required certifications and medical fitness records up to date. What are we looking for? Education: Diploma or degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline. Experience: 3–8 years in Instrumentation and Control Systems, with at least 5 years in an ICSS/DCS supervisory. Experience in Gas processing or NGC facilities is preferable. Languages: Portuguese and Professional English. Technical Skills: Strong technical ability to develop, implement, contribute to troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process optimization initiatives. IT Skills: Microsoft tools What else should you know? All applicants must reside in Angola and possess a valid residence card, as Saipem is unable to offer sponsorships.
